Broken Glass

Double walled glasses are fun, but fragile.

Broken Glass

Center, you will see broken glass. And to your left is an over-watered patio plant.

A Family Hierloom

My paternal grandmother made this book for me when I was three. Every page is interactive in some way. Originally the plan was that each grandchild would get one of their own, but that was before my grandmother discovered just how complex and time consuming the project was to make. It is one-of-a-kind, just like she was. The tag sown in, "Made With Love By Grandma", sums its creation up perfectly.

Family Heirloom

In World War II, my grandfather was in the Navy in China and bought his girlfriend a long string of pearls. He came back a year after the war and won back her heart. Fifty years later, they made that string into 3 separate pieces to give to their three grand daughters, me and my two sisters. Last October I wore this necklace at my wedding in memory of my grandmother.

Splash

My frail attempts to capture my feet splashing into the water at a safe distance from my camera were interrupted by a small child jumping into the pool right in front of me. I snapped it just in time. I checked to make sure she was completely obscured before leaving the pool with wet feet.

Running Water

After a several month hiatus courtesy of the death of the Cannon SX10 I was shooting with, this project returns with the acquisition of a Cannon SX520. Pictured above are the Tenney Locks.

An Accident Waiting To Happen

Office puppy, so adorable, so capable of wreaking havoc. Later on this day she got past the doggy gate into the break room and ate half of someone's lunch right off the table.7/104

Sweatshirt
Apparently this high school is very popular, so I get a lot of comments from alumni when I wear this out, like we're part of a club. It's always a little lame when I say 'Nope. Friend was getting rid of it.'
